As part of its capabilities statement, Design Pros Media practiced what it preached. The company regularly used free web blogging platforms—including Blogger and LiveJournal—to create and maintain an active company blog. This was intentional. By doing so, Design Pros Media could demonstrate firsthand to clients of every size how effective, accessible, and professional these free internet tools could be when used with discipline and consistency.

Fortunately, a number of these original posts were salvaged from surviving drafts and have been carefully recreated and preserved here on AKAPAD.COM. The majority of the original content, however, was lost when Design Pros Media closed its doors. The practice of blogging itself did not end with the company. It continued immediately afterward, beginning with the very post that served as an informal obituary for Design Pros Media—its work, its culture, and the people behind it. That continuity explains why posts appear after the formal closing announcement.

AKAPAD.COM has worked to reconstruct the Design Pros Media blog feeds as faithfully as possible, preserving the company’s original voice, tone, and approach while making this material available once again.

Design Pros Media was dedicated to discovering, refining, and continuously developing the creative—and often technological—processes behind every solution it offered. As its product catalogue expanded, the company treated process itself as a core product: something that could be studied, documented, and improved.

Among the materials that survive from that era are a series of internal business-development manuals used for client discovery, project definition, and sales. Internally these documents were simply called “the binders.” Far from being dry reference material, they were regarded as the company’s true operating system. The ability to translate complex creative work into clear, structured product-definition documents—shaped by experienced operations staff and senior sales leadership—became one of Design Pros Media’s defining strengths. That discipline is what set the firm apart and helped establish it as a destination for clients across New Jersey.
