HERE WE GO my first time officially inking a Marvel comic book artist (Craig Yeung) and it just ended up in my email box with the question “Can you do this?”. I was already in a rhythm working with Darren and Blue Water Productions and I was super fast from going from emailed penciled to practical inks. I could not pass this opportunity up and to top it off I had insight from Craig who was inking Runaways for Marvel at the time delivering me pointers on how he envisioned the final piece inks as well as what was expected from the colorist. This Power of the Valkrie cover is one of my all-time favorite pieces I collaborated in for Blue Water Productions.
Tools utilized:
– A5 and A7 crow quill pen
– Windsor and Newton size 3 round brush
