It’s no secret that I’ve given the latest animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film, titled Mutant Mayhem, a shot. I was there right when it hit Paramount+, and despite making multiple attempts, I struggled to get through it. The stumbling block, I believe, lies in the heavy emphasis on the “Teenage” aspect of the Turtles’ characterization, and for me, it just doesn’t quite click.

Down the road, I’d like to review “The Art of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.” The art style really speaks to me, and I’m curious about the balance between practical and digital elements in the creation of the artwork.
