Expanding NouVeau Studios’ Web Presence
In the early days, when NouVeau Studios operated out of a modest trailer off the Black Horse Pike in New Jersey, our client base was largely built from connections at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. It was during this time that I envisioned expanding our website to spotlight the individual talents within our studio. The goal was to showcase each member’s creativity and position them as unique problem-solvers, highlighting their ability to deliver innovative solutions. Reflecting on this now, it resembled an ad agency’s approach to promoting its talent—a strategy I believed would not only inspire our team but also foster career growth and attract new opportunities.
This vision was sparked by The Art of The Lion King, a book whose afterword left a lasting impression when I first encountered it in 1995. The afterword celebrated the camaraderie, diverse skill sets, and vibrant personalities of the film’s crew in a way that felt fresh and inspiring. It struck me as a brilliant method to humanize a team and showcase their collective and individual strengths. Determined to replicate this approach, I set out to create character-driven profiles for NouVeau Studios, featuring every team member who contributed regularly or completed special assignments under my direction. These profiles would capture their unique talents, personalities, and creative contributions, building a sense of unity while elevating each individual’s role in our studio’s story.
