Happy Birthday Charles Bukowski

Last night I finally was able to go live on Instagram to draw my Charles Bukowski birthday piece. Leading to August 16th, 2021 I has a series of setbacks that were challenging, frustrating, and very new. A detailed analysis of one of these setbacks is in an article that can be found here. i always make a point to remind people that you create and draw what you want even at times like for this piece it’s not the correct time. But the overall point is that you always keep going regardless of what happens. That’s the point and in a big way, it’s a point I know Charles Bukowski would identify with.
