My time at DPM sometimes was caught between some of the most aggressive sales guys Phillly had to offer and myself wanting true time frames for development. These sales guys just wanted their piece of the sale but to complete the process they needed something from myself and my team. Along the way we clashed as you would expect, as also collaborated and made some people super happy with the output. I do not fault this process of sales to design I helped design the way DPM interfaced with the sales force. However this time the time allotted for the FORBIDDEN LOOK LOGO DESIGN was under an hour. One of the reasons for this is that DPM was mindful of the time spent per project, the faster samples went out the quicker we could close the file and move on. This unfortunately meant at times you crossed your fingers and hoped the client was desperate enough to accept the work. Two desperate parties never produce a good outcome.
