The follow-up was limited in all of culture at one time, not like today where everyone and their parrot expects sequels to better than the original that spawned them, today we are spoiled by the rapid positions the seem as endless as they are good. If you want to consider the forumal for sequals the follow-ups at this time was to turn the original on it’s head the outlier of great sequels at this tome was The Godfather 2 (still the greatest sequel of all time) but the other beez that hovered the hive were Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Aliens, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, and for the tried and true, or those desperate to have deeper film opiniosn it was Robocop 2, Predator 2 , and Gremlins the New Batch to round out the only follow-ups worth any ounce of your time.
My introduction was Tony Digerlamamo and his Jersey Devil comic book was an article discovered by my grand mother who maybe saw something on local television
What was shocking is, at the time, and give me a minute here it was a time in the sense that that enthuasem for all of comics was apart of the South Jersey air, and when a local boy with a local concept for what we might agree was a high concept comic book in the truest term, a hollywood elevator pitch this pitch this concept still raises the hairs on my balls The Jersey Devil as a viglantee avenger stalking the guily in the hainted New Jersey pine barens, think of Batman meets The Crow, and this poster was in every comic book shop in south jersey. For a pea size moment in time Tony Digerlamos Jersey Devil was every where south jersey could provide.
The reach of this poster was
Tem Dee
Comic Crypt
Comic Zone
Hall of Heroes
Comic Relief
and others that escape recolection
To someone each and ready to swan dive into the comic book industry these posters formatted me to believe it was all with in my reach.
