This is not a full out hack but it’s enough of a similarity to question the decision in the selection of the new Brooklyn Nets logo designed by Jay-Z himself. The Milton Glaser Brooklyn Brewery logo still screams Brooklyn more effectively then what the Nets went with. When Milton came up with the brewery logo he wanted to speak about the baseball heritage of the city by emulating the Dodgers logo. I would expect something more iconic from an NBA franchise that is magnified by Jay-Z’s involvement.

This is in response to the unexpected direction the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theatrical revamp has taken. It’s wise to reserve judgement until Micheal Bay & Platnum Dunes release their overhaul but until then I will question the premise that the lean green ninja machine is spawned an alien race.

Ronald Reagan meets Iron Man

This is a slam dunk pairing. If these two men were ever to meet it would be a match made in heaven. Ronald Reagan was all about opening up industry and putting forth progress, Tony Stark is all about progress and stacking the lettuce. It’s natural that these two titans would benefit one anther. Stark Industries would have made billions in the 80′s and put a ton of Americans to work.

Philadelphia 76′ers and Eagles Lightening Crash Wallpaper

Everyone around town is all about the Sixers again and rightfully so. The young team still can’t beat the Heat but they are romping everyone else. If the can hold off the Celtics the post season should be real fun. After the Florida Team post I got a few requests for Philadelphia Teams so here it is the first.

I also got asked why I was using a lightening bolt. I wanted to do something somewhat corny and timed. To me these wallpapers echo back to the poorly designed and generic trapper keepers, folders, notebooks your mother would buy you on back to school night. Everyone eventually had some item of an annoying designed sports team logo paraphernalia jammed in their book bag or locker.

AKAPAD Client featured in Collingswoodpatch.com

It’s great to see true talent get the honest to god attention it deserves. That is how I feel about Food Network Star and Client Brian Demuro a member of the AKAPAD Alimui Program the very successful initiative ignited late last year. To understand the appreciate quality of Brian’s food preparation is to be equally righteous about food preparation yourself. Brain has a level of dedication that I find rare and admire he truly does not have a glass ceiling of success it’s scary to imagine what he will do next.
